The panel is 9.4 MP, with a 17” x 17” field of view and is covered by a full two years parts warranty (expandable up to 5 years). Flat panels are the devices of choice by the majority of veterinary radiologists due to consistent image quality and dosage. HDS FP 9 is no exception. The system requires only 2.5 mAs at normal kVp making it about a 600 speed system. This is up to 20 times less radiation then some CCDs! When this panel is combined with our exclusive fanless server, users enjoy the freedom of zero periodic maintenance due to fans drawing in hair, dust and moisture, as well as avoiding long term fan degradation/failure often resulting in system failure caused by heat damage. The HDS FP 9 easily retrofits to nearly all existing x-ray installations or we can upgrade your existing x-ray system.
